Il 29 aprile del 1993 si spegneva nella sua casa di Londra, a causa di un male incurabile, Mick Ronson, conosciuto chitarrista e produttore britannico, famoso per le sue collaborazioni con artisti fondamentali per la storia della musica rock quali David Bowie, Bob Dylan, Ian Hunter e Lou Reed.
Una lunga carriera artistica alle spalle, Michael “Mick” Ronson, verrà sempre ricordato per la sua collaborazione con David Bowie nei primi anni settanta. Fra le sue produzioni ricordiamo anche il terzo album di Morrissey ‘Your Arsenal’.
