Il 29 dicembre del 1947 nasceva il grande Cozy Powell, noto batterista britannico, famoso per aver fato parte di gruppi fondamentali dell’hard rock ed heavy metal di tutti i tempi.
Cozy Powell nasceva a Cirencester, Inghilterra, il 29 dicembre del ’47. Un batterista affermato, amato, apprezzato dai suoi colleghi. Ha suonato con tutti i grandi degli anni ’70 e ’80, in band che hanno reso immenso il rock. Dai Rainbow ai Black Sabbath, da Jeff Beck a Michael Schenker, da Jon Lord a Gary Moore, dai Whitesnake a Brian May. Davvero grande. Il suo contributo alla storia della musica rock e metal è innegabile.
